Emilie Moss

Hi! I’m Emilie, and I am really excited to be bringing the magic and mischief of Drama Tots to the Isle of Man.

I discovered my love of drama and performance by chance, really, when I took Drama as a GCSE to fill in a blank column on my options form. However, since then, I have been hooked! I adore how something so simple as a word or a prop can transport you to a different world. At a time when everything is constantly evolving, I find it liberating that drama gives you the tools to adapt and change for the better.

Over time, I continued my Drama studies at University, gaining both an Undergraduate degree and a PGCE (teaching qualification) in the subject. Naturally, this lead me into teaching, where I spent many happy years teaching and leading the subjects of Drama and English within a local high school.

During this time, we enjoyed many theatre visits both on and off-Island, with a 5-day London Tour to watch performances of ‘Matilda’ and ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog In the Night-Time’ being an absolute highlight.

Since having 2 children, my life has changed considerably. At Christmas, I made the decision to follow a different path and this is when I found Drama Tots. Instantly, the smiles on the children’s faces grabbed me, and I knew I wanted to be a part of this creative, imaginative and fun world. The benefits of this immersive learning which is peppered with catchy songs and engaging props will transport everyone – young and old(er!) – to far-off lands and magical scenes.
