The excitement is almost tangible as we launch a brand-new Drama Tots term! Children and families across the country are eager to see what adventures we have planned for them over the coming weeks and months.

Over the summer we have welcomed 4 new franchisees; Emilie, Megan, Melody, and Sarah. This term they begin their Drama Tots journey, bringing our award-winning classes to the children in their local areas!

These lovely ladies have completed their initial 3 day training course and are now sharing their talents and skills with families in their local communities.

Let’s meet them…

Emilie - Isle of Man

Hi! I’m Emilie, and I am really excited to be bringing the magic and mischief of Drama Tots to the Isle of Man.

What did you do before Drama Tots?

I spent many happy years teaching and leading the subjects of Drama and English within a local high school.

Why did you decide to join Drama Tots?

Since having 2 children, my life has changed considerably. At Christmas, I made the decision to follow a different path and this is when I found Drama Tots.

Instantly, the smiles on the children’s faces grabbed me, and I knew I wanted to be a part of this creative, imaginative and fun world. The benefits of this immersive learning which is peppered with catchy songs and engaging props will transport everyone – young and old(er!) – to far-off lands and magical scenes.

Megan - Taunton and Bridgewater

Hi, I’m Megan and I am super excited to be bringing the wonderful world of Drama Tots to the Taunton and Bridgwater area.

What is your connection to the performing arts?

I’ve always had a passion for drama and performing arts. I did Drama as one of my A-Levels and actively participated in my local amateur dramatics group, taking part in many performances.

Why did you decide to join Drama Tots?

I am now a mum of 2 and I was looking for an opportunity to combine my passion for drama and working with children with a job I can fit around my family. Drama Tots is the perfect answer!

I feel the benefit Drama Tots can have on children is huge. These fun, high energy classes build confidence, imagination and listening skills and lots of opportunities for the grown-ups to join in too!

Melody - Stratford and Banbury

Hi, I’m Melody and it’s my great pleasure to bring the joy of Drama Tots to families in Stratford and Banbury.

What is your connection to performing arts?

I grew up in a musical family and my sister and I were involved in performing from an early age; first through dancing classes and then as we joined our local amateur dramatics group. At university I joined a Rock Gospel Choir and loved singing uplifting songs as part of a big group.

What did you do before Drama Tots?

I have worked with children throughout the whole of my career and over the last 15 years have spent time in education settings as well as working with children in the community. I have been fortunate enough to work with a wide range of children and have discovered the absolute joy of working with children with additional needs.

Why did you decide to join Drama Tots?

I have two young children of my own and feel so grateful to have experienced first hand the many benefits of accessing Drama Tots classes, both in the community and in a nursery setting.

As I began to reflect on the next step for me personally and professionally, I was very quickly drawn to Drama Tots. As a parent, Drama Tots classes really stood out to me and so I welcomed the opportunity to be a part of the Drama Tots team.

Sarah - Cheltenahm

Hi! I'm Sarah and I'm so excited to be bringing Drama Tots to Cheltenham!

What is your connection to performing arts?

I have been involved in local drama companies for years. I was lucky enough to play many lead roles but my favourite will always be pantomime! I've also enjoyed dancing, ballet and tap, but most specifically Irish dancing and I just love to sing!

What did you do before Drama Tots?

I have been working in nurseries for many years, from private day nurseries to children's centres and schools to holiday clubs. I’ve always loved working with children and I'm always blown away by the joy they have for the world around us.

Why did you decide to join Drama Tots?

When I discovered Drama Tots, I felt like Christmas had come early and kept waiting for the downside… It never came! To be able to bring my joy of drama and storytelling to such a wide reach of children is a dream come true.
